Terms and Conditions of Use

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms and Conditions regulate the use of the mobile application PayLend (hereinafter, "the Application"). By installing and using the Application, you (hereinafter, "the User") agree to comply with the provisions set forth herein.

1. Description of the Service

PayLend is a technological solution designed for loan management and financial tracking, operating on an offline-first model with secure cloud synchronization.

2. Subscription Model and Trial Period (Free Trial)

Access to the Application's functionalities requires an active subscription:

  • Free Trial: Every new user is entitled to a free trial period of fourteen (14) calendar days. At the end of this period, the selected plan will be automatically charged unless the subscription is cancelled at least 24 hours before expiration.
  • Plans: Monthly and annual billing plans are offered. Current prices will be those shown in the purchase interface of the respective app store (Google Play Store / Apple App Store).

3. Renewal and Grace Periods

Subscriptions renew automatically. In case payment fails on the renewal date, uninterrupted access will be granted under the following terms:

  • Monthly Plan: Seven (7) days of grace.
  • Annual Plan: Twenty-eight (28) days of grace.

If payment is not regularized after the grace period, the Application's registration functions will be suspended (Read-Only Mode).

4. Cancellation and Refunds

  • Cancellation: The User can cancel their subscription at any time from their account settings in the app store. Cancellation will prevent the next renewal but will not generate refunds for already paid periods.
  • Refunds: Payments are non-refundable, except in cases where local legislation or app store policies so require.

5. Data Privacy and Security

  • Data Ownership: The User is the sole owner of the business and financial information entered into the Application.
  • Cloud Synchronization: User data is synchronized and securely stored on cloud servers (Supabase) to provide real-time backup and multi-device support. The developer implements strict security measures but is not responsible for data breaches resulting from compromised User accounts.
  • Backup Responsibility: It is the User's responsibility to manage their access credentials.

6. Intellectual Property

All software, code, design, and logos related to PayLend are the exclusive property of the developer. The User has a personal, non-transferable, and revocable license for use. Total or partial reproduction of the code through reverse engineering is prohibited.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Application is delivered "as is". The developer does not guarantee that the tool is error-free. In no case will the developer be liable for:

  • Economic losses or accounting calculation errors.
  • Tax non-compliance by the User.
  • Incompatibility with specific devices.

8. Modifications

The developer reserves the right to modify these terms. Continued use of the Application after an update of the terms constitutes acceptance of them.

9. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. For any controversy, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Santo Domingo, National District.
